I had to try the new Fuji x half. It is like a little toy. Fun to use. Love the date on the pictures. It’s just fun. While it won’t replace any gear or win awards, I find it a fun way to get the film effect without using film. I wish they would add this feature to the xt-5

I received an email talking about IR cameras and I became interested. I did a little research and decided I wanted to try it. I picked up a used Panasonic G9 from my local camera store and sent it in to be converted. Although through my research, winter is not the best for IR, I figured it was perfect time for learning more. So I've been trying it out and realize it's totally different. B&W is different gray. Dark green is usually more black but not with IR and snow is a lighter gray. (guessing this is why it's not recommended for winter). White balance becomes very important with IR.

What do you do on a rainy day? Head to the local garden center. Next time I bring my camera. It seemed like the flowers were really speaking to me. So I used my phone.

Getting up and out for sunrise always seems impossible when that alarm goes off. But I’m always happy with the results when I make myself do it.
