There’s something about wedding days that will never get old to me.

I get to walk into a room full of nerves, excitement, happy tears, chaos, laughter and so much love… and somehow, for a few hours, I get to become a small part of someone’s story.

I’m there while you’re getting ready.
I’m there for the deep breaths before you walk down the aisle.
I’m there for the hugs, the tears, the family photos, the little moments nobody else notices.
And I’m still there at the end of the night, usually running backwards through a tunnel of sparklers trying not to trip while capturing one last memory. 😂🤍

It’s easy to look at photography as just pictures.

But to me, it has always been so much more than that.

Because years from now, these moments won’t just live in your memory. You’ll get to hold them in your hands. Your children will get to see them. Maybe even your grandchildren one day.

And somehow, I get to be the person trusted to make sure those moments aren’t forgotten.

That’s something I hope I never become numb to.

Every wedding I photograph reminds me just how special it is that people invite me into some of the most important moments of their lives.

And I’m forever grateful that this gets to be my job. 🤍📸
