I actually took this back in August, but it's such a pretty image that I had to share it. I ended up having it printed 20"x30" on aluminum because the colors are so vibrant. Also, I love praying mantises. Enjoy!

Good news everybody! I've expanded my rental lineup into Nikon, to better serve the dark side! I have the d500 and d750 for bodies, and four lenses (Nikkor 35 f/1.4G, 85 f/1.4G, 105 f/2.8G VR Micro, and the Tamron 70-200 G2) to choose from currently. I'll be adding a 24-70 f/2.8 in the next month. I've also purchased the TTL-N remote for my B1s.

I got this cool juxtaposition of colors purely by accident. One of my friends turned on her cell phone in the middle of the shot, and the light bleed created the reddish glow on the upper right. A nice contrast to the blue on the left, though, so I kept it.

This is about as out-of-doors as you can get. The partial eclipse gave us this beautiful blood moon, and I stood out on my cold deck taking pictures of it. Enjoy!

I don't usually see too many birds hanging out around my house. Between my bumbling oafs of dogs and the neighborhood stray cats, they generally know to stay away. But I caught this little guy just hanging out on my deck, so I decided to capture him for posterity.
