This couple loves adventuring and wanted to make sure they had water and mountains in their shoot. So we headed out to logan canyon and found the perfect place to capture the two of them before the arrival of their baby girl. We also really bonded over our southern roots and I had such a fun time taking their photos!!!!

As kids get older you start to feel less pressure to document your family every year and coordinating schedules get even harder! I’m here to say... get those photos! At every age! I know it seems indulgent to hire a photographer so many times but I promise it’s worth it. A frozen snap of your life to always look back on makes it completely priceless !!

After almost a month away I am back at home! I immediately got sick the day after getting home but it was probably my body telling me to slow down and rest for a second. Happy for this long weekend ahead to catch up on cleaning, make some yummy food and get everything back on track! I hope you all have a lovely weekend and in the meantime enjoy this precious newborn session I did right before leaving!

Happy Saturday!!! I use to teach with Kylie and while she might be moving to my home state of GA soon I’m so happy I was graced with her sweet, lovely presence! She once brought me starburst after a hard class with one of her students and I bust into tears hahahah but she was there to make me feel better! Kylie, you’re going to be such a great mother and i’m so excited for you! .

I wanted in on the pretty spring flower pics so off I went with my tripod to the flower field. I was all alone until an extended family shoot came to do a shoot too. Right then I had to make the decision to either throw out all my insecurities and flaunt my s**t for all to see or to recoil like I wanted to and try again alone. So this family got to see me work it out there and eventually I didn’t care. I was thinking gees this is so vain of me. But then I had to remember to hype myself up like I do my clients. It’s not vain to want a pretty picture of yourself. It’s not vain to want to look back on photos of yourself throughout your life. It’s also not vain to feel pretty. Soooo if you’re ever on the fence about wanting pretty pictures of yourself for absolutely no reason than to want pictures of yourself... DO IT! And if you come to me I will hype you up and we’ll make it the best time ever ☺️ p.s. I sympathize with anyone that hates being in front of the camera because I do too! However I like to put myself there to work out posing ideas, because if I can’t do it somewhat how am I supposed to show you! But seriously I get it, it’s awkward but only for the first 2 minutes and then you just start feeling yourself!
