I’m still smiling from the very first weekend of Christmas Minis, and it’s all because of the wonderful families who came out to support me. Thank you for trusting me to capture these special holiday moments.

A huge shoutout to Second & Main Studios for providing such an incredible space. Their hard work, stunning studio design, and warm hospitality truly helped bring the magic to life. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to host my first set of holiday minis! I’m feeling grateful and excited for what’s ahead. I can’t wait to create even more memories. Thank you all again for making this milestone so special!

It’s time to work on building my portfolio and I need your help. Are you a new mama or expecting and looking to have photos done then this post is for you!

I am looking for 3-4 mamas who are interested in the following sessions: Maternity in home, Maternity in studio, Maternity outdoors, Newborn studio, Newborn in home, and a Fresh 48 (in-hospital newborn). I am also looking to do a 6 month milestone and first birthday. If interested please reach out to me for more information and to set up a day for your session at a discounted price.

Please note photos from these sessions will be used for marketing and portfolio. If you want to do one of these sessions but not be used for those purposes please reach out to me and we can discuss options and dates.

Things have been quite around here due to taking a little break to focus on some things but…

I ‘ M B A C K … and ready to get behind the camera again.

During this break I have been working on planning out minis, researching different studios in the area, and building my website which is almost ready and then I’ll be able to order my business cards. It’s all starting to come together.

As we enter February, we are coming up on our 1 year anniversary of Shelby Montana Photography. None of this would have been possible without everyone who has booked, recommended, and encouraged me along the way. Thank you to everyone for your continued support, I’m so excited to see what 2024 has in store.

For everyone interested in Christmas minis✨🎄

After doing some research and talking to a couple places I have decided to go with The Big Tree Plantation in Morrow. Our family photos were done here by another amazing photographer last year and it provided a beautiful natural backdrop.
I am also currently working on a small set up & props to add variety to the session.

These sessions will be 20 minutes with a 10 minute grace period in between sessions. I ask that you plan to arrive 10 minutes early so you can park and adjust outfits and make sure everyone is ready to go at your scheduled time.

Enjoy a little sneak from our senior session with Will. When I first met Will he was just a little kid who would come visit his mom at work. I can’t believe he’s a senior now. Kathy you have done a wonderful job raising this boy, he’s going to do great things!
