My name is Monica Hall and I work as a full time nurse in Madison, Wisconsin.
​I was born and raised in Wisconsin surrounded
by the great lakes of Green Bay, Lake Michigan
and the beautiful hills and views
of a variety of landscapes and wildlife. I am self taught with a love and passion to
capture life’s beauty through my camera lens. It wasn't until recently that I considered
myself a photograph

er after years of capturing
a variety of life's special moments. The world around me still continues to amaze me
and I feel very privileged to be able to capture
those special moments that life continues to offer. When asked what motivates me? I replied,
“I work as a full time nurse at a local Hospital
and see the challenges health has on our daily lives. My work brings color and beauty
​into the homes and businesses
for many individuals to brighten their day. If it makes you smile and warms the heart
then my work has done what was intended.”

Mesa Verde National Park "Cliff Palace" was built by Ancestral Pueblo people somewhere between 1200-1275 C.E. and has seen a lot of repair work done since the park was established in 1906. It is an amazingly beautiful piece of Native American architecture and history and the most photographed. I photographed it last week October 2024

"Fall in Durango Colorado" We had an amazing time sight seeing on our epic trip to Colorado. My husband was diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis almost two years ago and is now on Oxygen. He kept saying he wished he could see Colorado one more time. So I surprised him with an early birthday present with airline tickets for his wish to come true. I am so glad we went now because he had a difficult time in the higher altitude and would not be able to do this trip again in the future with his health. We were very grateful for the oxygen concentrators his pulmonologist correctly said he would need.

What a spectacular sight to see Sunday night August 12th 2024 at 1:04a.m. when the Northern Lights began to ramp up as it moved southward. At this time I could look up and see it moving above my head. These lights were visible to the naked eye including the reds. It was only the second time in my life to experience such a glorious event.
