So my latest project is a series of 5 images that are my own spin-off of Monet's Water Lillies. These are fields of poppies, taken at Filoli Historical Gardens. I am trying to accomplish the effect of a hybrid image in watercolor/photograph. I think these would make a great set of notecards or postcards.

Very exciting news, all six of my entries were accepted into the art show! I am hoping that it will be a great first time experience, there will be so much to learn from this. Having my pieces hang up along side other long time professional photographers is an honor.

Instead of hanging up a single piece of artwork, how about mounting a display of four cohesive images? Check out these images that I took from Battery Mendell. These would look amazing in both minimalist contemporary designed homes as well as rustic. I would highly recommend these printed on metal with thin border pop out frames. I guess when it rains it pours (in a good way). I just got notification of a nearby gallery hosting a Fall Artist event. I can display 3 pieces. I have decided my Trio Of Pears should be included. Pears are an absolute staple for Fall. This will be printed on fine art paper, matted in black, and framed in a flat espresso walnut frame with non-glare glass in 16 by 24. Enjoy...
