Hi, I’m Liz
I thought I’d do a little reintroduction since my last profile photo was so old I was basically catfishing everyone with my younger, well-rested, hormonally balanced self 😂
So here I am, in my 40s, embracing all the beautiful things that come along with aging.
I’ve been photographing families for 10+ years now, and while all of that experience has shaped the way I shoot, I don’t think it’s what has shaped my style the most.
I think that has come from watching my own kids grow up.
The older they get, the more I find myself missing the tiniest things. The little hands, the silly expressions, the belly laughs, the chaos, and all those ordinary in-between moments I didn’t realize I’d miss so much.
And I carry that with me into every session.
I’m always looking for those little moments because I know now just how fleeting they are. And I have a feeling that years from now, those will be the photos you cherish the most.
A few fun facts: I went to school to be a teacher and still occasionally sub for Lodi. I’ve been together with my husband for nearly half my life now and we have 2 beautiful (not so little anymore) children, Emmy and Mitch. I love baking sourdough, gardening, and all things nature. I’m a middle child and I’m pretty much textbook middle 🙈 My faith is a huge part of me and I carry it into everything I do. ✨
I absolutely love what I get to do. I feel so blessed and honored to preserve these moments for families, and I’m so grateful to every person who trusts me with something so special.
I truly pray that I can honor that trust and give each family the very best of me.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for letting me be a small part of your story ❤️
Thanks Breanne Shaffer for laughing with me and snapping some fun photos!
