before I had children, everything was a rush.
I couldn’t wait to grow up.

nothing ever seemed to go fast enough.
now, it’s the opposite.
now, it seems I need life to slow down.
I need more hours in the day,
a moment to freeze,
to be fully submerged in this new love I have.
