HOLY. COW. 😅 Fair Week is officially OVER and I feel like I can finally breathe again.

If things have been a little quiet around here lately… this is why. 😂 Lorain County Fair week is always an absolute whirlwind and, for a minute there, it pretty much takes over my entire life.

But I wouldn't have it any other way.

Something you may not know is that every year, I choose to donate a portion of what I earn photographing Fair Week right back to the Junior Fair Board.

Because this week has never been just another photography job for me.

It's about the kids. The ridiculous amount of work they put in. The families cheering them on. The friendships, traditions, early mornings, late nights and memories being made all week long.

And I feel pretty dang lucky that I get to document it. 📸

I also have to give a HUGE shoutout to K&L Processing for always stepping up and sponsoring a portion of the photography coverage. Your continued support helps make documenting this week possible, and it does not go unnoticed.

Now… I'm going to catch my breath, work through the mountain waiting for me, and get back to showing you guys what I've been creating behind the scenes. 😂

Some wedding days are meant to be big.

Others are meant to feel a little quieter. A little more personal. A little more you.

The dress. The details. The people who matter most. The tiny moments happening in between the ones everyone expects you to photograph.

Those are the moments I love capturing.

A little reminder as you’re planning your wedding: I am still photographing weddings, but these days I’m intentionally focusing on smaller, more intimate ceremonies and celebrations.

Elopements, micro weddings, intimate ceremonies, the kind of days where I can slow down, pay attention to the details, and tell your story the way it actually felt.

So if you’re planning something small but incredibly meaningful, I’d love to hear what you have in mind. 🤍

FAIR WEEK 🐄🐐🐓🐖🐑📸

What. A. Week. And we’re still going! 🫶🏻

I just wanted to give everyone a little update on galleries from all of the Junior Fair shows! I am here morning until night most days, capturing as much as I possibly can, so I’ll be uploading galleries as I’m able to between shows, shooting, and getting a little sleep somewhere in there. 😂

🐓 Fowl from Monday is officially UP!
🐐 BOER is next and should be up tonight or tomorrow!
The rest of the shows will continue to follow as I work my way through everything.

My goal is to have everything uploaded within the next two weeks, so please bear with me while I work through the thousands and thousands of moments being captured this week. ♥️

More than anything, I just want every single one of you to know how much I appreciate and value you. The kindness, excitement, conversations, familiar faces, new faces, and seeing these kids proudly show off everything they’ve worked so hard for has made this week so incredibly special.

I am SO thankful to be trusted to capture these moments and to be a part of something this amazing. The fact that I get to stand ringside and document these memories for your families is something I truly don’t take for granted.

Thank you for welcoming me, supporting me, saying hi when you see me running around, and trusting me with these memories. 🥹♥️

Now back to the rings I go… and eventually my computer. 😂📸

Fair week is officially HERE! 🎡🤍

I wanted to pop on with a quick update for everyone currently waiting on a gallery, email, message, or response from me.

I had hoped to be a little more caught up on galleries before this week arrived, but… life had other plans. 😅 With fair week officially underway, my response time to emails and messages is going to be much slower than usual this week.

BUT, that does not mean I’m disappearing!

I have LOTS of galleries in the works, and quite a few will be making their way into inboxes throughout this week and weekend. 📸✨ So if you’re currently waiting on yours, keep an eye on that inbox!

For now, I’m asking for a little extra patience while I juggle fair week, editing, gallery deliveries, and everything happening behind the scenes.

I promise I haven’t forgotten about you.

I KNOW, I KNOW… the 2026–2027 school year is literally just getting started. 😂

But hear me out… it is NEVER too early to book your senior portraits.

Senior year has a funny way of going from “we have plenty of time” to “HOW IS GRADUATION ALREADY HERE?!” real quick.

So Class of 2027, this is your sign. 📸 Let’s get those senior sessions on the calendar and create something that actually feels like YOU.

And yes… bringing your sport, passion, hobby, or whatever has helped shape your story is ALWAYS encouraged.

I am SO honored to be capturing the Lorain County Junior Fair shows this coming week! 🥹📸♥️

I popped in yesterday to walk around, check out all the new additions, and enjoy a little bit of the “calm” before life gets breathed back into the fairgrounds tomorrow! There’s something so special about seeing everything quiet, knowing that very soon these barns and rings will be filled with exhibitors, animals, families, excitement, hard work, and so many memories. 🫶🏻

YES. The LIGHTING in these?!

The soft light. The shadows. The denim. The bare belly. The whole family piled together. It feels intimate without trying too hard and THAT is my favorite kind of maternity session.

Nothing overly posed. Nothing overly perfect.

Just that quiet little moment before a family of four becomes a family of five. 🥹

And I’m sorry… but that first shot?! I CANNOT GET OVER IT.
