Did you know that using drone images "in furtherance of a business" can result in hefty fines if you are caught by the FAA? In fact, you don't even have to make a cent from them, they still cannot be used for business purposes. The penalty for using images without a Part 107 Commercial drone license is $1,100 per image, and knowingly hiring an unlicensed pilot to take images for you is an $11,100 fine. Even if you are a recreational pilot and you upload images from your vacation to your YouTube channel, which is monetized, you will be fined if the FAA finds out. Don't get yourself into trouble. Call us and we'll get the images or video you need and save you the worries of skirting around the FAA regulations. Fines up to $32,600 are applicable in certain instances, and if you are flying in controlled airspace without proper authorization and get caught they can be much higher. Why take the risk?
