While I was in Morongo working on my house, I had a photo show at the Happy Cooker. The Happy Cooker was north of Palm Springs about 10 miies, on Highway 62. It was a part of "Downtown" Morongo, which consisted of one stop light, the Chevron Station, a Tack and feed store, Morongo Hardware/ Garden center, The Morongo Cafe, a little fresh fruit grocery store, the Post Office, one Realty Company and a sort of pizza place. It had been in operation for some 20 years and made the best burgers. It was small, although they did mostly take out, they did have indoor seating.

(In Meryl Streep's "Out of Africa" voice) I had a house in California, at the foot of Mt. San Gorgonio. I also had a condo in San Diego, across the street from "Ichiban".

When I left San Diego, I had been let go at my job. Not only did I not have a boyfriend, I had a restraining order on my ex-fiance. I was behind on my condo mortgage payments. I was behind on my car payments. I was behind on my credit card payments. I injured my shoulder (2nd Degree separation of AC Joint) and had to stop training for my black belt. I made it to green belt with a blue stripe in Shaolin Chuan Fa Karate. At the ripe age of 47 I had to move to Morongo Valley, CA to live with my Mom.

I have a PayPal account now. I haven't ever done a transaction yet. Although it is second nature to most of you, I may need someone to talk me through my first online transaction... of any kind. There is an email for orders in the picture I am posting. I don't have any pillowcase stock yet, but I'll be ordering that soon. Sooner, if I have any orders.
