This time of year can be tough. We’re craving more sunshine. We’re restless after months spent indoors.

I took these photos at the end of February two years ago. We packed the kids up and went for a walk on an unseasonably warm day. We didn’t get dressed up. I didn’t ask the kids to pose. I just photographed them being themselves.

And they are some of my favorites. 🤍

It also reminds me that time is a thief. 😭
