Some girls put their whole heart into the thing.
D is one of them.
She picked up a softball at five. But somewhere in the last two years, something shifted.
The sport stopped being something she played and started being something she was.
A left-handed pitcher.
The kind of player coaches notice, the kind of teammate the dugout roots for.
Twelve years old and already showing up with the work ethic of someone twice her age.
But softball isn't the whole story.
She writes music.
Plays the violin.
Carries a heart of gold into every room she enters.
The kind of kid you root for the second you meet her.
Her mom Jackie sees all of it.
The pitcher. The musician.
The sixth-grader navigating one of the most formative years of her life with grace.
Jackie, thank you for trusting us to capture her exactly as she is right now.
And D, thank you for showing up as your full, incredible self. It was an honor to capture you.
✨ Play Like A Girl sessions are open for June.
