Today marks one full year of traveling and living full-time in our RV. Here's it is by the numbers:

States visited: 17
Separate RV Sites: 79
Longest stay in one site: 37 nights
Miles driven: Just over 22,000
World's Largest Somethings: 4

Some of our coolest stays included: a Harvest Host stay at the Ozark Clydesdale Adventure Campground near Branson, MO where we went on a trail-ride on Clydesdales; another Harvest Host stay at a retired Atlas Missile Silo near Wilson, KS; a visit to an underground salt mine Hutchinson, KS; Dinosaur National Monument on the CO/UT border; Zion National Park in Utah.

Some of our most rewarding stays included: Visiting family in Colorado, Missouri, Nevada, Arizona, Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, & Georgia

It's been an incredible year and we look forward to another year filled with travel, experiences and making new memories together!

Today marks our one year anniversary of being houseless, but not homeless.

We took a day trip to Tuskegee, Alabama today and stepped back in time to the 1940s. What an awesome experience to see where the actually started. Also went by the Historic Tuskegee Institute and saw Booker T Washington’s house. Very cool day.

We’re in the homestretch to Montgomery, Alabama. A Harvest Host for the last two nights, then a MS state park tonight. Rolling into MGM tomorrow.

Well, the weather foreguessers say we’re going down to 29°F tonight so I decided it’s finally time to get serious about figuring out how to plug the truck in for the block warmer. After a little research, it was really pretty simple. I probably don’t need that level of protection tonight, but it is nice to know that it’s there. We’re gonna head a little further south tomorrow and see if we can’t warm things up just a little bit.

So, a Texas State Trooper just pulled into the campground and dropped off another trooper, then left. Seems we have a trooper for a neighbor. Guess we’d better behave…
