⛈️ HERE WE GO AGAIN, EAST TEXAS…

Just captured this shot as another round of storms moves toward the Livingston area. That sky is looking pretty angry. 😳🌧️

After the amount of rain and flooding we’ve already experienced today, please keep an eye on the weather and don’t let your guard down. The ground is saturated, waterways are high, and it won’t take much additional rainfall to create more problems.

⚠️ Avoid flooded roadways.
⚡ Be prepared for possible power outages.
📱 Keep weather alerts turned on.
🙏 And please give our first responders, law enforcement, road crews and linemen room to work.

Everyone stay safe out there. More weather is moving in.

🌧️ CURRENT SITUATION IN LIVINGSTON, TEXAS 🌧️

A quick time-lapse look at the weather moving through Livingston today and it looks like we’re not quite done yet.

After everything we’ve seen across East Texas today — flooded roads, high water, stranded vehicles, downed trees and power issues — please continue to take this weather seriously.

⚠️ More rain to come.

If you encounter water over a roadway, don’t chance it. Turn around, don’t drown. Conditions can change incredibly fast.

And a HUGE THANK YOU to all of the linemen, first responders, law enforcement, firefighters, wrecker services, road crews and emergency personnel who have been out in this mess today keeping our communities safe and working to get things back up and running. 🙏❤️

A lot of people get to stay home and stay dry because you’re willing to go out in it. We appreciate you!

Everyone stay safe out there, check on your neighbors, and keep an eye on the weather. 🌧️🙏

🌧️ A COUPLE MORE CLIPS FROM TODAY’S FLOODING…

We captured quite a bit while we were out documenting the flooding across the area today, so here are a few more clips showing just how much water is out there.

And then there’s the last clip… 😂

My daughter INSISTED that her squishy floating through the floodwater deserved to make the final cut.

Apparently Drone Bros has expanded into professional squishy cinematography now. 🤦‍♂️🤣

Sorry in advance. I’ve lost creative control of the company.

In all seriousness, continue to be careful out there. There’s still a lot of standing and moving water throughout the area, and flooded roads are nothing to mess with.

Stay safe, East Texas! ❤️🌧️

🌧️ A LOOK AT TODAY’S FLOODING ACROSS EAST TEXAS

Here are a few photos we captured while we were out and about today documenting some of the flooding across our area.

It’s one thing to hear the rainfall totals, but it’s another thing entirely to see what that much water looks like on the ground.

Roadways covered. Ditches overflowing. Fields underwater. Creeks and drainage areas pushed well beyond their banks.

We also saw law enforcement, first responders, wrecker services and road crews out working in some pretty rough conditions today. Huge thank you to everyone who has been out there helping keep people safe. 🙏

⚠️ Please continue to use caution. Just because the rain slows down doesn’t mean the danger immediately goes away. Water can remain over roadways, and some roads may have damage underneath that you simply can’t see.

Turn around, don’t drown.

Stay safe, East Texas. ❤️

🚨 ROADWAY FLOODING — HARDIN COUNTY 🌧️

Another look at the flooding across East Texas today. This video shows FM 943 in Hardin County flooded, with a local sheriff’s unit carefully making its way through the high water.

⚠️ Please don’t take this as a sign that the road is safe for passenger vehicles. Law enforcement and emergency vehicles may be operating under circumstances and with equipment that the general public does not have.

If you encounter water covering the roadway, TURN AROUND, DON’T DROWN.

With the amount of rain we’ve received, conditions are changing quickly across the area. Stay alert, stay safe, and give first responders plenty of room to do their jobs.

📍 FM 943 | Hardin County, TX

More updates to come as we see conditions throughout the area. 🙏

🚨 ROADWAY FLOODING — HARDIN COUNTY 🌧️

This is the scene near FM 1003 & US 69 in Hardin County right now. Water has made it over US 69, and a wrecker service is working to recover a vehicle caught in the flooding.

PLEASE do not attempt to drive through flooded roadways. What looks passable can become dangerous very quickly.

If you come across water over the road, TURN AROUND, DON’T DROWN.

Give wreckers, first responders, and road crews plenty of room to work.

⚠️ More rain is still possible today, so conditions can change fast.

Stay safe, East Texas. 🙏

🚨 FLOODING NEAR LEGGETT ISD THIS MORNING 🌧️🌊

Another look at the amount of water we’re dealing with near Leggett ISD this morning.

With 9–15 inches of rain reported in portions of the warned area, conditions can change incredibly fast. Creeks, ditches and low-lying areas are already overwhelmed, and more heavy rainfall is possible.

⚠️ Please be careful if you’re traveling anywhere in Polk County this morning.

If you see water over the roadway, TURN AROUND, DON’T DROWN. Don’t assume you know how deep it is just because you’ve driven that road a hundred times before.

🚨 FM 942 & HICKMAN CREEK — LEGGETT AREA 🌧️🌊

This is what conditions are looking like around FM 942 and Hickman Creek near Leggett ISD this morning.

After the incredible amount of rainfall we’ve received across Polk County, creeks and low-lying areas are filling FAST. Please don’t underestimate moving water or attempt to cross a roadway if you can’t clearly tell how deep it is.

⚠️ TURN AROUND, DON’T DROWN.

More rain is still possible, so stay weather-aware, give yourself extra time, and please be careful if you have to get out this morning.

⚠️ FLASH FLOOD WARNING — PLEASE STAY SAFE! 🌧️

We’ve had an incredible amount of rain across our area, and the National Weather Service has extended a Flash Flood Warning for portions of Polk and San Jacinto Counties until 9:30 AM today.

Some areas have already received an estimated 9–15 inches of rain, with another 2–4 inches possible.

📍 Areas mentioned include Livingston, Goodrich, Seven Oaks, Alabama-Coushatta Reservation, West Livingston, Lake Livingston State Park, Segno and Leggett.

Please use some common sense this morning. If a roadway is covered with water, do NOT try to cross it. Turn around, don’t drown. No destination is worth risking your vehicle—or your life.

If you’re dealing with flooding, check on your neighbors when it’s safe to do so and keep an eye on local emergency information.

Stay safe, East Texas. More rain may still be coming. 🙏🌧️

Thank you to everyone who came out today and listened to my spiel on marketing, content, AI, websites, social media, and probably about 47 other things I managed to squeeze into an hour. 😂

I hope everyone walked away with at least one idea you can actually use to help your business. If you did, then I accomplished what I came there to do.

A huge thank you to the Polk County Chamber of Commerce for having Drone Bros out and continuing to put together opportunities like this for our local business community. It really does mean the world to me to be asked to speak and share some of the things we’ve learned while growing our own business.

It was also great meeting so many other local business owners today. There are some incredible people building businesses right here in our community, and I genuinely wish nothing but success for every one of you.

And yes… I know I talk fast. My mouth is just trying to keep up with a brain that’s apparently wired on speed. 😂

If you have any questions after today, reach out anytime.

If you have any complaints, please drop those directly in the comment section. I’d love to hear them. 🤣

Seriously though—thank you to everyone who showed up, participated, asked questions, laughed at my terrible jokes, and spent part of your Tuesday with me.

Now quit overthinking it.

Show your work. Show your people. Teach something useful. And be the business they remember. 🚀
