🚨 BIG NEWS! 🚨

This Friday, I’m picking up my new camera! 📸

After 7 years with my current camera, it’s been an overdue to upgrade. I am honestly so excited! My camera has been with me through hundreds of sessions, countless memories, and so many milestones. It has helped me capture your families, your babies, your weddings, birthdays, and so many special moments.

I can’t wait to see the incredible detail, sharper images, richer colors, and all the creative possibilities this new camera will bring. I’ve been dreaming about this camera for a long time, and it’s finally happening!

To my wonderful clients, family, and friends,

This is a post I’ve been wanting to write for a long time…💕

Over the last several months, I made the difficult decision to step away from photography and social media. I needed to focus on something that often gets pushed aside. This being my mental health, my family, and finding my way back to myself.

To be completely honest, it was one of the hardest seasons of my life. There were days when I questioned so much, and I knew I couldn’t continue pouring into others while my own cup was empty. Taking a break wasn’t easy because photography isn’t just my business, it’s been a part of who I am for such a long time.

During this time, I found healing in slowing down, making memories with my family, and giving myself the grace to rest. While I’m incredibly thankful for that time, I also realized just how much a piece of my heart was missing.

I missed photography. I missed my clients. I missed watching your children grow through my lens. I missed celebrating your milestones, capturing your love stories, and creating memories that you’ll treasure forever. Most of all, I missed the connections I’ve been so lucky to build with each of you. You’ve never just been clients to me, you’ve become part of the story of New World Photography.

Today, I’m so happy to say that I’m ready.

New World Photography is coming back 🤍📸

I’m returning with a renewed appreciation for this beautiful career, a healthier mindset, and an even deeper love for what I do. I know the road ahead won’t always be perfect, but I do know that I’m ready to pick up my camera again and do what has always brought me so much joy.

If you’ve continued to support me, checked in on me, shared my work, prayed for me, or simply waited patiently for my return, thank you! Your kindness has carried me more than you’ll ever know, and I’ll always be grateful for it.

I cannot wait to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new families, and tell your stories again. Thank you for giving me the time I needed to heal, and thank you for being here as I begin this next chapter.
