Forever and always🤍

I am always SO encouraged and motivated by seeing couples show such care & love to each other, while parenting their little ones.

Raising up little humans is an immense blessing — but it's also exhausting and testing in so many ways, and it can be easy for it to become so all-consuming that it really takes center stage... but watching power couples use the opportunity to grow closer *together* is incredibly inspiring.

Every challenge we face is a chance to grow, an opportunity to rise to the occasion and further develop our character — and parenting is certainly a challenge!

But witnessing the love, sacrifice, and care that couples show to their kids, yes, but especially to each other brings me such joy. And it encourages me to recognize ways that I can continue to grow in my character as well!

Very thankful for the sweet time I could spend with this beautiful family & so inspired by many gorgeous couples, including this one.🤍

This darling Australian family is just the sweetest. Truly such a delight to be around! And these cutie twin girlies & their little sister melted me.. and their little accents🫶🏼🥹 Soo precious & adorable — they get it from their gorgeous mama.🤍

I'm so thankful I could help to capture this sweet season of their time here in California! They're here for just a few years & I am so grateful our paths crossed.

Whenever you meet people who are warm, kind, and just so genuine through + through, it's such a joy, isn't it?! Such a breath of fresh air. This family is one of those families.

And now that I think of it, many of the families I photograph are as well — in fact, I'd say most are, which is amazing.

So very grateful for this family and the other many incredible families I've been able to meet while doing family photography. It is truly a joy + a privilege.🤍

The sweet sibling bonds get me *every* time. Cannot get over how adorable these two little besties are! And their parents are way too cute too.🤍

Also veryyy behind on posts, but SO very grateful for the many beautiful families I've been able to photograph so far this year! It has been a blast. Posting on social media.. maybe not so much? Navigating the most optimal way to use the plethora of tools we have at our fingertips in this day & age is a blessing and a challenge. Such as I don't want to spend my precious time scrolling, overthinking content planning, etc etc.. So maybeee I've just been throwing out the baby with the bath water on this one recently?😆

The break has been amazing, but I also do want to share some recent work on here..! I am so so grateful for the honor of photographing such kind, gorgeous families and bottling up this special season for them in some sweet images. For all of you who have trusted me enough to take your family's photos, truly thank you so much!!!🤍

The sweetest little family reunion🤍

Loved spending some time with this fun family before they headed off on their annual spring break getaway!

How amazing is it that these pretty girls have cousins their same ages as built in best friends?!

And if I'm remembering correctly, I think their ADORABLE grandparents have been married for almost forty (?) years?! Seriously, marriage goalss😍

This adorable family will be welcoming the littlest member of their crew in the spring + I am sooo very excited for them!!

Also so thankful that my sister's sister-in-law has the cutest family who's down for a last-minute photo shoot like this just because I found a new pretty spot!

Both my boys absolutely adore these "cousins" of theirs (even though you *might* not be able to tell from the last pic😆)!

Where would I be without these sweet people?🤍

Their wholehearted love, enthusiasm, and support truly means the world to me!

Of course some moments + days are extremely hard, and I never want to pretend otherwise.

But I know these sweet days with three kids three and under will be over before I know it & I can already so deeply feel the reality that children grow up so fast.

Beautifully documenting each season of my own family's life is very important to me - which is why I even started doing family photography in the first place!

I'm so grateful for the opportunity to capture + beautifully document these precious chapters - both in my own family's life and in many others'. So so grateful!!

Every day we are given is such a gift!🤍

Each morning we have a fresh start: a new opportunity to determine our outlook, attitude, priorities, goals, actions, and the direction we want our life to be heading. Personally I find that so encouraging!!

Now that I'm a mama to three little kiddos (which I love!), some days can feel soo hectic & overwhelming.. and it can be hard to remember that even when I'm feeling exhausted + pulled in three different directions, I can still do my best to choose patience, love, and joy.

Life is filled with so many different seasons, and each one is beautiful! I'm so grateful I get to capture these little glimpses into various seasons of other families' lives. It's truly a privilege.

Also isn't this family just the cutest?!

I absolutely love the warm autumn scents & cozy atmosphere created by fall themed candles!🍁🍂 But I've always felt like my space needed to be perfectly cleaned before I could light one - which is just not the most realistic with two toddler boys running around creating messes as soon as I clean them up..!

However, this is the first fall season that I've realized it is actually possible to light a candle in a room that's still a work in progress😆 I know it sounds small, but it actually represents a much more significant lesson I've been learning, which is that I do not need to wait for everything in life to feel perfect to enjoy it + fully embrace the season we're in🤍

Also how adorable is this family?! They're about to celebrate 10 years of marriage (woohoo!!) and had the amazing idea of bringing flowers to their session - just the sweetest!

Loved spending time with this adorable family & so excited for their sweet little boy to join them soon!🤍

Also the mom hack I learned today is to make cleaning sound exciting so your littles want to be involved + help haha!

Dominic really wanted me to take him to the park this morning, but I needed to mop the kitchen first. So I presented mopping as a fun activity & he excitedly mopped the kitchen while I got other things done around the house.. and now we're at the park & everyone's happy😆
