Risa Scott Photo A fully mobile photography studio specializing in headshots, lifestyle & adventure imagery.

I am a nomadic photographer with a small dog named Bread and love creating stories through imagery and adventure! I started with a Nikon DSLR that a co-worker loaned me, since then it's been a process of learning and growing through telling stories. After years of collaborating on photo-based imagery with peers and mentors in the acting, modeling, photography and general creative community, I’ve m

et and worked with so many incredible people. My goal is to bring quality, affordability and community to artists, performers and business owners; anyone passionate about what they do!

“And he was gesturing up through the trees above to show them how it was woven across the sky or how the sky was woven into the trees, he wasn’t sure which. But there it was, he smiled, and the weaving went on, green and blue, if you watched and saw the forest shift its humming loom.”
— Ray Bradbury, Dandelion Wine

I found this tree in the mist somewhere in Madeira, standing just at the edge of becoming something else.

It didn’t feel like a single moment. It felt… threaded. Like something mid-process.
Not quite a place, not quite a memory.

When I created the Storyteller deck, this image became The Weaver.
The one that reminds me that not every story is linear — some are layered, crossing over themselves, pulling past and present into the same frame. All the while leaning into what’s next…

Light through fog. Branch through sky.
A quiet intersection of things becoming.

Sometimes the work isn’t to chase the story—
just to notice where it’s already being made.

Start grounded, then let it loosen up:
It started as a straightforward lifestyle shoot.
Clean lines, good light, a solid frame.
And then… momentum took over.
When your model is a parkour athlete, “stand here and look natural” turns into movement, timing, and a few creative risks. Somewhere between precision and play, the story shifted — and got a lot more fun. ✨📸
That’s the sweet spot for me.
When a shoot stops being just about the product and starts becoming something…more 📸
Featuring
(and a belt that held up through all of it) Built for movement. Proven mid-air.

“I’m in a room and they’re coming at me. It’s okay. I want them to.
The last thing I want is silence.”
— Thomas Shelby, Peaky Blinders

There’s a particular tension that only exists when loyalty, power, and silence occupy the same space.
This image lives somewhere between cinema and stillness. A moment before the door opens. A moment after a decision’s already been made.

Some stories don’t need dialogue.
