I’m Vinessa Olp, otherwise known as Momma Bear, and I have been behind the camera since I was 5 years old when my grandfather gave me a little Keystone 110 camera. My love for capturing moments only grew as I saw everyday occurrences that continued to become memories. I have worked for portrait studios for 27 years and have taken thousands of pictures of children and their families. I have had the

privilege of watching them grow and change as they visited for milestones, holidays, and sometimes for no reason at all, then those children returning with their own children. Throughout my life I have been drawn to work with special needs children, both physically and developmentally delayed. I have worked with families to photograph terminally ill children, those with severe social anxiety, light and sound sensitivity, gross motor control issues, speech disorders, and language barriers to name a few. While I am honored to have had the opportunity to work with my clients in a studio setting, I believe there are beautiful moments that cannot always be captured in front of a backdrop. That’s why I am proud to be able to offer both studio style portraits in my micro studio, my outdoor location and candid indoor or outdoor photographs at a location of your choosing.”
