One of the things I value the most about me and my work is being unique. I love finding other people and couples who are a little less or even wayyy less traditional.

This past January I had a bride who wanted to completely break out of the traditional box. She did that by wearing an orange dress, and it was BADASS. To make her wedding dress even more unique, she took pieces of lace from her mom's wedding dress and had sewn them onto her dress.

Any brides-to-be out there? Would you wear a not-so-white wedding dress? My encouragement to you: don't be scared to wear a different colored dress if that's your dream wedding dress or maybe grab that non-traditional dress for the reception! Two dresses are better than one. As your photographer on the wedding day, I will encourage you that you’re doing what you feel is right for you on your big day no matter what you feel others will think.

It’s been a while, friends! Honestly, I have mood swings when it comes to social media. I am all in for a few weeks or more than I’m forgetful, don’t feel like I have the right or best content to put out there, or I just don’t want to mess with it. Anyone else feel me?

Really it’s confidence in what I’m putting on my social media. It can be hard when you see so many incredible creators around you, and it’s like, “Wait, is my content worth looking at.. I don’t feel like it’s as good as the next creator, wedding photographer, etc.”

One of my goals this year is to strive to feel more confident in what I create to hopefully push me into a better mindset to actually share those creations 🥰✨
