Senior portraits don’t have to be boring.

I had a blast taking these senior portraits last year. We wanted to highlight Owen’s trail running and triathlon sport. These were a mix of traditional photos, drone, flash and natural light images. I even got to hang out the back of a Jeep Gladiator for some of the cycling shots 🚴

It's been my experience that the best portraits don’t come from posing or performing. They come from authenticity, honesty, and letting yourself be exactly who you already are.

These images are of my friend Sam Coburn. We captured these a while back, but he's someone who doesn’t change depending on the room he’s in. He’s the same guy playing a guitar in his living room here in Arkansas listening to Iggy Pop as he is walking the streets of New York City. What you see is what you get, and that kind of consistency is rare.

When people stop trying to manage how they look and give themselves permission to just exist, the camera doesn’t have to work very hard. The images become more honest, more personal, and far more interesting.

That’s always the goal.

When your ready to be yourself, let's create some portraits to show you off to the world.

I know we are a month out, but if you’re looking for a fun way to celebrate Mardi Gras, I know a place!

SoMardi Gras in the SOMA district is what it looks like when a neighborhood shows up together. There's a parade, music in the air, beads flying, kids on the curb, and plenty of new friends by the end of the day.

SoMa is one of my favorite areas in Little Rock, and events like this are a big reason why. There’s a sense of community here that’s easy to feel once you’re standing on the street watching it all unfold.

Even though it’s still a month out, I’m already looking ahead to documenting this year’s event as the official photographer and videographer. Capturing moments like these is one of the things I enjoy most about event photography.

Hope to see you there with all the beads.

Before someone ever walks through the door, they’ve already formed an impression.

For local businesses, branding photography isn’t about perfect poses. It’s about showing real people, real interactions, and the care that happens every day behind the scenes.

My work with The Pharmacy at Wellington is a great example of what thoughtful branding photography can do. It helps tell the story of trust, professionalism, and community in a way words alone never could.

If you’re a Central Arkansas business thinking about how you show up online, consistent, honest imagery matters more than you might realize.

I’m always grateful for the chance to photograph the people and businesses that make the 501 such a great place to live.

At least once a week, I make time to photograph something just because.

No client brief. No deliverables. Just an opportunity to slow down, think, and enjoying the process of photography, with the hope it’s something I’d actually hang on my office wall.

The last few times we’ve taken the kids to the Museum of Discovery along the riverfront, I kept noticing the lines and angles underneath the newly built I-30 bridge. I finally stopped and photographed it yesterday afternoon.

A cool full-circle moment knowing my friend was part of the team that helped bring this project to life. Mission accomplished.

Meet - A fitness coach, cancer survivor, pharmacist, and a regular client of mine.

We’ve worked together several times to build a library of images she can use across her fitness brand and coaching services; for both in-person and online clients.

These shots are from our first branding session a while back, but we loved how they turned out. We collaborated closely to create a plan that fit her business and clearly showcased her services, and this session laid the foundation.

All photos used a mobile lighting studio that allowed me to@come to her and her business.

More to come.
