We had fun celebrating Maranda's Old-English-themed birthday the other day. It makes it so much more fun to photograph people you genuinely enjoy, even if only meeting for a moment, frozen in time. Thank you, Maranda, for letting us share in your special day, and here are to many more.

We are excited to begin working with Mindscape as they ramp up their product and make innovations with every growth stage.

This project was a mix of using their found assets and creating new ones through AI and other tools created by artificial intelligence. Although I can't entirely agree with the AI revolution, but it is hard to deny its utility, especially in rapidly developing companies.

We are incredibly fortunate at Summit to have an opportunity to work for life-changing companies, one of them being Sweet Life Canna Co. We were brought in and collaborated with Osborne Media Group on this exciting project.

Their story begins with their founder, Courtney, and her breast cancer diagnosis. With the use of medical cannabis, she could combat the nastier symptoms of chemotherapy. It allowed her to be a mother to her children again. She and her husband, John, then embarked on creating Sweet Life Canna Co.

We are so thankful to have had a helping hand in their branding video and excited to see what the future holds for them.

Congrats to the whole team!

One of our Kidney Donor Athletes and climber Shannon Catalano is all smiles today. We found out this morning that the documentary was selected for the First Time Filmmakers Lift-Off Session 2022, part of the Lift-Off Global Network.

It is a online showcase dedicated to screening a collection of globally submitted indie shorts and features from new voices. We are so happy that we were selected and will be featured among a global palette of talented filmmakers and causes.

It is complicated to photograph and film at these extreme elevations and temperatures; not only does gear have to function pristinely, but the operator as well. Fortunately, and their Alpha series are built differently, as are the camera operators at Summit Pointe. Ensuring that whatever the task, or need, we will capture your adventure in the best light possible.

March 10th sunrise over , 18,885 feet high. The have been hiking since 10:30 PM, hoping to reach Urhu Peak by 7 AM. Summit night distinguished itself in its extremes. A 4,000-foot elevation gain, 35 mph wind gusts, below-freezing conditions, and only a dim flicker of light from their headlights to guide their path.

30,000 people attempt to summit every year, and approximately 2/3rds are successful. Roughly 1,000 people are life-flighted away, and the mountain claims about 10 people per year.

Against all odds, the Kidney Donor Athletes climbed on. It was the largest organized group of to ever Summit Kilimanjaro, and they did it on .

Every 9 minutes a new name is added to the transplant waiting list, a majority of them in need for a transplant. On March 8th, 2022, the night sky creeps over the outlook from camp at Kili. One of the most challenging parts of the climb lay ahead for the Kidney Donors, the Baranco wall, and a steep ascent up the 875-foot rock scramble. What lay ahead? The summit.

Every 9 minutes, a new name is added to the national transplant waiting list. Most of them need a kidney. Twenty-two athletes extended themselves through living donation and donated one of their . Through a show of strength, they all embarked on climbing and summiting on , March 10th, 2022.

We had the pleasure to be part of this amazing experience with 22 amazing people. The trailer drops this Monday.

March 7th, 2022, the sun was rising over Mt. Kilimanjaro, the tents of the athletes glistening with fresh frozen dew. This was only day four of the eight-day adventure. Night temperatures fell to about 15 degrees as we slept in all of our layers. The warming light provided hope as we began climbing our way up to 19,341 feet. Even through the darkness, there is still light, and we had to keep on climbing.

Currently, there are over 100,00 people on the waiting list for a . Twenty-two athletes extended themselves through living donation and donated one of their . Through a show of strength, they all embarked on climbing and summiting on , March 10th, 2022.
