Under the heading of "No good deed goes unpunished," a model with whom I worked several years ago has apparently decided to culminate her most recent harassment with claims of stolen and/or sold images of her. The deed - she had a set of CDs that she could no longer access because her technology was poor, but she had Gmail and Google Drive. Because we had worked together previously without incident, I agreed to recover the images that I could and load them to Google Drive for her for free. I did this and shared the folder. I managed to recover all the images. She began to ask that I provide the images in other formats, all of which would have required expenditures on my part for which compensation was not offered. I refused. After nearly five years of intermittent harassment, I blocked her from my Facebook tonight. She then began to make slanderous claims on community websites saying that I had stolen and sold her images. As she STILL has access to the Google Drive with ALL of her images, I do not understand the claim of theft. As I have never sold or displayed ANY of her images, that claim is also false.
It saddens me that there are those who would stoop to this sort of activity, but unfortunately, this is the world in which we live.
