I get asked all the time if I do cake smashes and 1 year milestone photos, and the answer is YES! 🎂✨

Cake smash session tips:

• Schedule your session around naptime whenever possible.
• I always keep the setup simple so your little one isn’t too distracted, but feel free to bring balloons! 🎈
• Warm them up first! I always start with family portraits, then move to baby only photos, and save the cake smash for last.
• Stay close by! Parents are the secret to those big smiles and happy expressions.
• And finally, don’t be surprised if your baby doesn’t love the cake. For some, it’s their first taste of sugar, and others just aren’t fans of sweets. Either way, their reactions always make for the cutest photos!

The best cake smash photos aren’t about perfectly eating the cake, they’re about capturing your baby’s personality and celebrating this sweet milestone. 🤍

It’s my 40th birthday! 🎉 hooow am I this old?!

I’m so excited to step into this new decade and hopeful that it will be the best one yet.

Many people don’t know that the last few years have come with some health challenges. After getting very sick in 2021, I’ve been dealing with long covid, histamine intolerance, and MCAS symptoms.. blaaahhhh

Recently, I started working with to focus on balancing my minerals along with homeopathy, and for the first time in a long time, I’m feeling genuinely excited about what’s ahead!

This year is my year of healing, growth, and getting stronger. I’m entering 40 with hope, gratitude, and anticipation for all that’s to come! Cheers to 40 years!

Seven years ago today, I said goodbye to my baby girl, Summer Marie 🤍

26 weeks of carrying her… 26 weeks of knowing her.

I don’t share about her often, but she is always, always part of me.

I look back and wish I had more photos from that time. If you scroll, you’ll see the only 2 photos I have… because I was so focused on how I looked instead of what I was living. And I hate that now.

Because I would give anything to have more of those moments documented.

She’s a big part of why I do what I do.
Why I care so much about documenting your babies, your pregnancies, your stories… whether it’s your rainbow baby, your IVF journey, or the baby you’re still praying for.

Or even just the everyday, ordinary moments that don’t feel like anything special right now… but really are everything.

She made me slow down. She changed me.
And she’s the reason I don’t take any of this lightly. Missing her every day 🤍
