We’ve accepted Photoshop as photography. So why are we nervous about AI?

I’ll be honest — I’ve always managed client expectations around heavy editing. A nip here, a sky swap there, sure. But I’ve never believed in turning someone into someone else.

AI is no different when it’s used with that same intention.

These two images of Brandon are an “after and before”. The reflection, the puddle, the dramatic sky — added in post using AI. But look at what it does for the image. The whole concept of his brand shoot was about making a statement. Now you actually feel it.

Photography has always been part truth, part storytelling. AI is just a new brush.

Thoughts? I want to hear where you stand on this.

Some clients you photograph. Some clients you just get to witness — and Inty is one of those.

I've had the privilege of working with her for years now, and every time we're together I walk away thinking, how does one person have this many ideas and actually execute all of them? She's the kind of entrepreneur who doesn't just dream big — she builds it.

Her latest chapter? She and her sister just opened a new location of Agave Postpartum Wellness. 🌿 If you don't know what they do, go look them up immediately — new mamas in Arizona are so lucky to have them.

45 feels like exactly where I’m supposed to be. Twenty years behind the lens has taught me that the best light comes with time — more clarity, more intention, more joy in the work and the people around me. Grateful doesn’t even cover it. Here’s to the next chapter. 🥂🤍

Some people just have a light about them ✨
Loved getting Brandy Baier, NP from in front of my camera. Not only is she absolutely gorgeous, but she’s also one of the kindest souls!
You can tell how deeply passionate she is about helping people heal and truly feel their best, inside and out. Her knowledge, heart, and genuine care for others shines through in everything she does 🤍
So grateful for the opportunity to capture these images for her brand!

Some people talk about getting diverse perspectives in the room. Tamara actually does it — and then turns it into results.

She's a design thinking facilitator, which means her whole job is making space for big, messy, complicated problems and helping teams walk out with clarity on the other side. Cool, right?

The thing about photographing someone like Tamara is that her presence is her product. People hire her because of how she shows up — confident, fearless, disarming. So we needed a full gallery that actually captures that.

No stiff headshots. No "stand here and smile." Just Tamara, in her element, looking like the person you absolutely want leading your next offsite.

When a publication wants to feature you as an amazing woman to , your photos better show up for you.
Lana did not come to play. 😄

She's the kind of person who makes everyone around her feel at ease — which, coming from me, the person whose literal job is to make you feel at ease, is saying something.
