Weeping willow and the lake. 🌳 There are two turtles resting on the rock but you can't see them. 🐢 I mostly wanted to capture the branches.

It was SUCH a perfect day to go to the gardens! It took me awhile to drag my ass off the couch but once I got going, I was unleashed! I took so many pictures one of my batteries died 🙄. So worth the drive and I got in free. @ Chicago Botanic Garden

Reminiscing on Bali Part 1...from enchanting entryways and doorways to small precious finds around the grounds of Melati Cottages, visiting excellent warungs (restaurants) where I found my new favorite juice, watermelon basil 🤯, and simple ole garlic bread. Ubud did not disappoint and I hope to return one day. ❤️

Today has been incredible. We had the opportunity to visit a holy temple, Tirta Empul (more pictures coming of this). After emersing ourselves in three holy springs we had a private prayer ceremony in the back. It then poured down raining; the joys of Bali! We consumed many different fruits that our guide's, .tour.guide mother had prepared. Surprisingly I tried everything and was only opposed to 2 things; durian and passion fruit.

Had lunch at this amazing restaurant, Carik Terrace, and the bonus was this incredible view of some rice paddies.

Made it!! I mean....wow...came outta the clouds and BAM!! Mount Raung is one of the most active volcanoes on the island of Java in Indonesia. It is located in the province of East Java.

Landing in Qatar and there is no runway...blue for miles around. This was the smoothest damn landing I've ever experienced though! Great job crew. 👍🏽
