When Makenzie told me she wanted hay bales, a pretty sunset, and Krue eating steak for his 6 month photos, I was ALL in! šŸ„¹

Grandpa set out the hay bales and even had fresh corn waiting for us, while Makenzie and Austin brought the cutest props and, of course, the steak šŸ¤­

But the most important part of the whole session? Krue. šŸ„¹ He is the sweetest, happiest little guy, and watching how much heā€™s grown since I first started capturing their story has been so special.

And yesā€¦ this boy really does love his steak and corn šŸ˜šŸ„°

Thereā€™s something so incredibly special about the days spent waiting for your first babyā€™s arrival. Soaking in those last few moments of just the two of you, while dreaming about the little girl who will soon change your world forever.

Emily and Nathanā€™s maternity session was absolutely beautiful, and Iā€™m so excited for them to meet their sweet baby girl! Getting to capture this season of anticipation, excitement, and so much love is such a privilege.

Wishing you both all the love and happiness as you step into this beautiful new chapter. I canā€™t wait to see you become a family of three! šŸ’—

I photographed Olivia & Griffin for prom, and I remember thinking then how beautiful their pictures wereā€¦ but WOW šŸ„¹šŸ¤

Getting to photograph them again was already so special, but add their sweet golden retriever Bandit into the mix and Iā€™m officially obsessed with this session!

They are just the sweetest together, and these photos might be some of my favorites Iā€™ve ever taken

Some photo sessions are about beautiful pictures. Others are about the people behind them. ā¤ļø

The Strange family is one of those families I'll always look forward to seeing. They have hearts that make everyone feel like they belong. Over the years, they've opened their home to foreign exchange students from around the world, offering not just a place to stay, but a place to be loved, encouraged, and truly become family.

This session was especially close to my heart because Johanna, a former exchange student who has become part of the Strange family forever, was able to come back and visit this summer. Watching the joy, laughter, and genuine love they all share was something special to witness.

I don't take it lightly when families trust me to capture these moments. Being invited back year after year to preserve memories like these is one of the greatest gifts this job has given me. Thank you, Strange family, for allowing me to tell a small part of your beautiful story. šŸ¤

Here are my remaining sunset session dates for 2026!

Just a little reminder from your friendly photographerā€¦ donā€™t wait until November to book if you can help it. Unless youā€™re into frozen noses, numb fingers, and snowy photos.

That was our reality last November! It was cold and very snowy. The photos turned out absolutely beautiful but they definitely arenā€™t for everyone.

So if cozy fall colors, warm sunsets, and actually being able to feel your hands sound more like your thingā€¦ nowā€™s the time to grab a date!

Some moments just feel full circle.

My camera roll used to be filled with photos of my nieceā€™s big beautiful eyes, wondering who she would become one day. Now, Iā€™m behind the camera again, capturing the incredible young woman sheā€™s grown into and the way she lights up beside someone who makes her so happy.

Time has a funny way of sneaking up on us. One day theyā€™re the little ones youā€™re chasing around with your camera, and before you know it, youā€™re documenting a whole new chapter of their story.

These are the moments that remind me why I love what I do. Getting to preserve the people you love through every season of life is a privilege Iā€™ll never take for granted. šŸ¤

Iā€™ve loved getting to capture them and watch their relationship grow over the years. Between the gorgeous sunset, the Chevy, and the way they look at each other, this session was pure magic!

One day youā€™ll look back at these photos and remember this season of life.

The excitement. The anticipation. The joy of finding someone you want to spend forever with.

Love stories donā€™t have a timeline, and thatā€™s one of my favorite things about this season for the future Mr. & Mrs. Irish.

These moments before the wedding day pass by quickly, which is why I love capturing them. The laughter, the connection, and the excitement for whatā€™s ahead all deserve to be remembered.

What a beautiful wedding day and an even more beautiful reminder that love can overcome the unexpected.

Just weeks before their wedding, their venue tragically burned down, turning what should have been a joyful season into a stressful and chaotic one. Through it all, they handled every challenge with grace and still created a day filled with love, laugher, and unforgettable memories.
