Friends, the trail got mowed yesterday. There were places of wicked tall grass and some of that lays on the trail tread which could be slippery for bike tires and hide some rocks. Be aware.
Go have some fun.
We saw plenty of vehicles going up the hill with bikes attached so those folks got a nice surprise, we hope. ☀️

This is such a great family friendly weekend event.
I managed 3 Glory laps last year AND was introduced to pickle juice recovery, by necessity. Mark your calendars.

We're excited to host another year of two-wheeled fun at Cruise the Blues! This year looks a little different, with a new date and format. Plan to hang out both Saturday and Sunday for all the CTB festivities and racing action you know and love, along with a few twists!

The hike/bike trail @ Coronado Heights is mostly mown as of today. Other work will happen with trimmers another day.
I didn’t get to see the condition of some of the washed out areas on the east side but we’ll just have to work on those. Less a problem for hikers, not so great on a bike.
Whatever the case, enjoy the scenery and be watchful out there.

April 26th in National Trail Day. This will be a 25-mile ride on the Meadowlark Trail starting at the Lindsborg Trail head at 9:00. You can make the ride as long or short as you like. Please think about joining us and send the information out to other riders you know. Please check the centralkansastrails page on the 25th if the weather (rain and / or muddy) looks uncertain.
