At approximately 05:45 on January 10th, 2024 the Lindenhurst Fire Department was alerted for a house fire on East Drive. Upon arrival Chief Cutolo (1-6-32) transmitted a working fire with the rear of the house on fire. Engine 1-6-1 was first due and was on hydrant. Ladder 1-6-4 was deployed in front of the house. Engine crews stretched and operated multiple lines and brought it under control within 2 hours. Lindenhurst units on scene were 1-6-1, 1-6-2, 1-6-3, 1-6-4, 1-6-6, 1-6-7, 1-6-10, 1-6-17, 1-6-32, 1-6-33. Copiague Fire Department was requested for their Tower Ladder 1-34. West Babylon Fire Department was called for RIT with 1-9-4. North Lindenhurst Fire Department was requested for an engine 1-11-3. At 06:11, 1-9-4 was put to work and 1-3-4 was the new FAST truck. All residents home at the time made it out safely. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Town Of Babylon Fire Marshal and Suffolk County Police Arson Squad .1
