At approximately 20:23 on January 19th, 2024 the Deer Park Fire Department was alerted for a house fire on Cayuga Ave. Upon arrival a Deer Prk member advised that smoke was coming from the house. 1-4-7 was the first engine on scene and then the working fire was transmitted and then hooked up to the hydrant. Within 10-15 minutes the house had flames shooting through the roof. At approximately 20:46 all visible fire was knocked down. Deer Park Units on scene were1-4-7, 1-4-10, 1-4-11, 1-4-22, 1-4-30, 1-4-33. Mutual aid units were North Babylon FD for RIT with 1-8-8, Wyandanch FD for engine 1-10-1 and Dix Hills FD for ladder 2-8-8 and Ambo 2-8-15. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Town Of Babylon Fire Marshal.

At approximately 05:45 on January 10th, 2024 the Lindenhurst Fire Department was alerted for a house fire on East Drive. Upon arrival Chief Cutolo (1-6-32) transmitted a working fire with the rear of the house on fire. Engine 1-6-1 was first due and was on hydrant. Ladder 1-6-4 was deployed in front of the house. Engine crews stretched and operated multiple lines and brought it under control within 2 hours. Lindenhurst units on scene were 1-6-1, 1-6-2, 1-6-3, 1-6-4, 1-6-6, 1-6-7, 1-6-10, 1-6-17, 1-6-32, 1-6-33. Copiague Fire Department was requested for their Tower Ladder 1-34. West Babylon Fire Department was called for RIT with 1-9-4. North Lindenhurst Fire Department was requested for an engine 1-11-3. At 06:11, 1-9-4 was put to work and 1-3-4 was the new FAST truck. All residents home at the time made it out safely. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Town Of Babylon Fire Marshal and Suffolk County Police Arson Squad .1

At approximately 18:54 the Copiague Fire Department was alerted to a apartment fire with possible occupants entrapped on Great Neck Rd, upon arrival 1-3-33 called in a MVA in the intersection of Great Neck Rd and Oak Street. 1-3-33 then requested a single line in the apartment from and within a few minutes the situation was under control. Multiple units that were on scene were 1-3-10, 1-3-4, 1-3-9, 1-3-80, 1-3-3
