I almost didn't go out after work today. So glad I talked myself out of it. Was fortunate enough to land on 3 separate tornados across North Dakota today.

First tornado happened around the Knox/York ND area, I was about 20 miles south of it.

The second happened south of Hesper, ND

The third happened near Cathay, ND

I feel bad I didn't bring Parker out today, it was kind of a last second decision to head out and chase.

Yesterday, we decided to head out to Medora and TRNP for a little family getaway. Temps were well over 100, but we enjoyed our time out there.

Plus side, the wild life was actually somewhat active, as they were trying to beat the heat as well, most of them hung out down by the Little Missouri River.

The wife and kids had a pretty good time, it’s always a blast heading out to TRNP.

Had a great time out enjoying the peaceful night of the 4th to the 5th. I have to thank my good old friend Nathan Gravelin for coming out with me. The 4th is always tough for me, I love my country and am proud to have served it. Getting away from the fireworks and secluding myself in the middle of nowhere has become kind of a tradition for me. I was so glad to share it with someone who has been an awesome friend and supporter through my life.

Here's to many more brother!
