Although the bride’s father passed away in 2019, his presence was felt throughout every moment of the day. From the vintage car he once owned (restored by the bride herself) welcoming guests upon arrival, to the personalized bouquet charms gifted by family members in his honor, his spirit was woven into every celebration.

Steve, you would be so proud of the beautiful woman your daughter has grown up to be.

Golden Hour is always a vibe... but imagine this...

I walk you across the parking lot from your reception, to take a few portraits in the grass... only for it to start sprinkling rain on us... and *ONLY* us... the parking lot? Completely dry! But our little slice of green was getting just enough of a sprinkle that we got to frolic in it on your wedding day!

How absolutely cinematic is that?!

A highlight of my career for certain!

Good morning loves!

I photographed a wedding in Fort Calhoun yesterday, am meeting with a new wedding couple this morning and then I’m off to photograph another wedding this afternoon in Lincoln 📸✨

Busy season is in full swing and I am so grateful to be doing what I love most in this season of life 🙌🏻

I’ll be back in the office tomorrow following up on this weekend’s emails and inquiries!

I have finally made a successful switch to a new gallery hosting website.

If you are needing access to a gallery restored, please send me an email request and I will get that gallery uploaded to my new site and a new link sent over to you as soon as I am able.

Thank you for your patience as I made this transition - and while my family has come down with influenza B this month. The McGovern household has spent more time sick and resting than we have healthy so far in 2026. The joys of having 4 young kiddos in the winter I guess.
