I was just alerted to a website that is selling artwork that is stolen from the internet. I see at least 40 images of mine there. First of all I suggest all artists visit this website to see of your work is there. If it is write the site and demand they cease and desist selling your copyrighted work. This image was captured two weeks after the sunrise images. Same location, Merrymead Farms. This time it was a supermoon rise of the Strawberry Moon.

Thanks to everyone for helping me find the family which I sought here on FB. I have another image of that family grabbed on that same morning, a few weeks ago, at Merrymead Farm during the partial solar eclipse a few weeks ago. This image reminds me of the 50s when we were so fearful of a nuclear attack. I thank, again, the family for cooperating with me and posing as I requested.

One thing I've learned about photography and the weather. Plan for the best and hope it will be better next time.

Up at 3:30 this morning to, hopefully, capture the partial eclipse of the sun at sunrise. Traveled 20 minutes to a vantage point I hoped would include the distant Philadelphia skyline. Once at the location in Fairview Village, PA I realized from that location pointing at the city the sun would not rise in the frame of the image. I then circled around the area looking for a better location.

I ended my journey around 5:00 at Merrymead Farm just south of Lansdale, PA. It was foggy and I could only hope I would be able to grab any kind of image of the partial eclipse. Of course there was also a cloud bank near the horizon.

I set up and waited.

Another thing I learned is your must have patience.

I think I captured a few images that might make the grade. Need to work with them in my photo editing app, Affinity Photo. Here are a few right out of the camera.

I call the morning project a success. I think I might need a nap a little later.

Today, 19Jan2021, I received notice my work “Look Up” was accepted into the 2021 Virtual 215/610 CONTEMPORARY Juried Exhibition of Regional Emerging Artists. Chosen by juror Christina Vassallo, Executive Director of the Fabric Workshop and Museum in Philadelphia. Emerging? From the self quarantine of 2020. That’s my answer and I’m going to stick to it.
