We understand that family members may not agree with a video of an accident being posted, and we respect that they may have strong feelings about it.
That being said, the incident happened in a public place, and the video does not identify the individuals involved by name or provide their personal information. What we choose to record and share from a public setting is ultimately our decision and is generally protected by the First Amendment.
You may not agree with everything we post, and that’s completely understandable. But disagreeing with a post does not automatically mean that it is wrong or unlawful to share.
The video was not posted to embarrass, disrespect, or exploit anyone involved. It was simply documenting an event that occurred in public. We can respect the feelings of those involved while also respecting the right to document and share events that happen in public.
