🤍 A Little Booking Policy Update 🤍

I wanted to take a minute to explain a small change I’m making to my booking process.

Photography has always been more than just a job to me—it’s truly my passion. I love capturing memories for families, seniors, couples, and all of life’s special moments. If I could do this every day just for the love of it, I absolutely would.

But photography is also a significant investment of both time and money. Every session involves planning, communication, travel, shooting, editing, continuing education, software, props, and equipment. Many hours go into your session long before you ever step in front of my camera.

As many of you know, I also have a family of my own. When I set aside a date for a client, I’m reserving that time away from my family and often turning away other inquiries for that same date. Unfortunately, I’ve had several situations where dates were claimed and then the client disappeared, leaving that spot unable to be filled.

Another reason for this change is that I’m committed to growing this business and taking it to the next level. Camera equipment, lenses, editing software, education, and everything needed to provide the best experience possible are expensive investments. Every session booked helps me continue growing this passion of mine and allows me to reinvest into my business so I can deliver even better images and an even better experience for my clients.

With that said, moving forward:

✨ A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to secure your date.
✨ Retainers must be paid within 24 hours of claiming a session date.
✨ If payment is not received within 24 hours, the date will be reopened and made available to other clients.
✨ Your session is not officially booked until the retainer is received.

Please know this policy isn’t meant to be harsh. It’s simply a way to respect my family’s time, protect my business, and ensure I can continue providing the quality experience and images my clients deserve.

Why should you book your session with me?

Because I know being in front of a camera can feel intimidating. Whether you’re worried about your kids behaving, not knowing how to pose, feeling self-conscious, or simply not knowing what to expect, I’m here to make the process easy and enjoyable.

I don’t expect perfection. I don’t expect perfectly behaved children, flawless outfits, or picture-perfect moments. I believe the best photos come from real smiles, genuine connections, and the little moments in between.

I’ll guide you every step of the way, help you feel comfortable, and create an experience that feels relaxed and fun. My goal isn’t just to give you beautiful images—it’s to preserve memories you’ll look back on years from now and be thankful you captured.

As a mom myself, I know how quickly time passes. The babies grow up, the seniors graduate, and life changes before we realize it. That’s why I believe photos are one of the most valuable investments you can make—not for today, but for the memories you’ll treasure tomorrow.

✨ Malik is THREE! ✨

I’m pretty sure they don’t come much cuter than this sweet boy! 🥹💚 From running through the field with the biggest smile to showing off his flower and celebrating with his giant “3” balloon, Malik absolutely stole the show during his milestone session.

Watching little personalities shine through my camera is one of my favorite parts of this job, and Malik made it so easy. His energy, curiosity, and sweet smile had me smiling the entire session! ☀️

A huge thank you to his mama, Kylie, and his Nan for trusting me to capture these special memories. It truly means so much that you chose me to document this milestone for your family. 🤍

✨ Only 7 spots left in July! ✨

I know to some people, getting family pictures taken can seem like just another thing to put on the to-do list. But one day, those photos become so much more.

Trust me, I feel this more than ever right now with having a senior this next school year. 😭 It feels like just yesterday he was little, and now we’re talking about senior pictures, graduation, and the next chapter of life. Time truly flies faster than we ever expect.

One day, your babies won’t be little anymore. The messy hair, the missing teeth, the way they reach for your hand, the way they look at you like you’re their whole world — those moments change so quickly.

Years from now, these photographs will be what you have to look back on. They’ll tell your family’s story. They’ll remind you of the season you’re living in right now, even when it feels ordinary.

And mamas, don’t stay behind the camera. Be in the photos. Let your children have pictures of you loving them, hugging them, laughing with them. Those images will become priceless treasures someday.

I’ve had several people asking about openings, so here is my current June availability!

🤍 White dates = Available
🩶 Gray dates = Requested/Waiting on Deposit
❌ Booked dates = Fully Reserved

If you’re wanting family photos, seniors, couples, maternity, milestones, or even an outdoor bo***ir session, now is the time to get on the calendar before June fills up!

A friendly reminder: Dates are not officially reserved until the deposit is paid. If a date is marked gray, it means someone has requested it, but it is still available to the first person who completes their deposit. Once a deposit is received, that date becomes fully booked.

I never want anyone to miss out because they thought a date was being held, so I try to keep my calendar updated as accurately as possible. 🤍

One of the best parts about summer is those late sunsets! ☀️

If you’ve been wanting updated family photos, senior photos, couples photos, or even a bo***ir session, don’t overlook weekday evenings. Many of my favorite sessions happen during the week when locations are less crowded and the lighting is absolutely beautiful.
