It’s been a long time since I’ve posted here, nearly two years, in fact. But while this page has been quiet, Stephanie Gilmore Photography has remained very busy.
Life brought some losses along the way. After losing my dad and then my beloved Betsey earlier this year, social media just wasn’t a priority for me.
But through it all, I’ve continued photographing. Babies have grown, seniors have graduated, families have gathered, couples have gotten engaged, and business professionals throughout Central Kentucky have stepped in front of my camera for headshots and marketing imagery. I’ve had the privilege of continuing to preserve milestones, tell stories, and help people put their best face forward, both personally and professionally.
I’ve also been creating something completely new. Some of you have already discovered Pet Portrait Couture, my new collection of custom artwork celebrating the animals we love so much. It’s been such a fun and meaningful creative outlet for me, and I may share a little of that here from time to time, too.
But today, it feels especially fitting to bring this page back to life with something very close to my heart. Last week, I photographed the engagement session of my first baby, Carlyle, and her fiancé, Cody. I’ve photographed Carlyle more times than I could ever count. She was my very first subject, long before Stephanie Gilmore Photography officially existed. Seeing her through my camera this time, with the man she’s going to marry, was special. ❤️
So yes, Stephanie Gilmore Photography is still very much here, still thriving, and still doing what I’ve loved doing since 2002, creating beautiful photographs for the people who trust me with their most important moments.
