POV: A couple reaches out and says, “We’re not having a wedding… it’s just an engagement party.”

Me: “Oh, awesome! How many guests?”

Them: “About 150.”

Me: “Nice! What’s the timeline look like?”

Them: “Ceremony at 4, cocktail hour at 5, dinner at 6, speeches, cake cutting, first dance, parent dances, and then open dancing until 10.”

Me: 👁️👄👁️

My camera doesn’t suddenly become cheaper because we changed the title of the event. 😂

The workload is still there.
The editing is still there.
The gear is still there.
The experience is still there.
The backup equipment is still there.
The years of learning how to handle chaotic family photo combinations are DEFINITELY still there. 😂

Wedding vendors everywhere know exactly what I’m talking about. We love you, we truly do, but calling a wedding an “engagement party” doesn’t magically turn it into a backyard BBQ. 🤣

Tag your favorite wedding vendor who has heard:
✨ “It’s not a wedding wedding…”
✨ “It’s very small…”
✨ “We’re keeping it simple…”

…and then arrives to find a full production worthy of its own Netflix special. 🎬💍

It’s so easy to fall into doubt when you’re not exactly where you thought you’d be by now. Trust me, I’ve been there. We live in a world where we constantly compare timelines, success, growth, and accomplishments… but the truth is, your journey is YOURS for a reason. 🤍

Not every season is going to feel rewarding immediately. Some seasons are meant to test your patience, your discipline, and your belief in yourself when nobody else sees the vision yet. But don’t give up on yourself just because the results haven’t shown up overnight.

Keep showing up.
Keep creating.
Keep pouring into your dreams.
Keep working toward the life and brand you envision for yourself.

Nothing worthwhile comes easy, and the people who make it are usually the ones who kept going even when self-doubt tried to convince them to stop.

Believe in yourself NOW, not just when everything finally works out.

Your future is built by the version of you that refuses to quit today. ✨

POV: Wedding day = pure magic ✨
Editing week = me questioning all my life choices 😂

Don’t get me wrong, I LIVE for the energy, the love, the chaos, the dance floor moments, the happy tears… being behind my camera on your wedding day is the best feeling in the world. 🤍

But what you don’t see?
Me… hours later… staring at ✨thousands✨ of photos like:
“Did I really take this many? Yes. Yes I did.” 😅

Culling, sorting, editing, perfecting every little detail, because your memories deserve nothing less than magic.

So while wedding days are a 10/10…
Editing days? Let’s just say it’s a labor of love 😂💻

But trust me… it’s ALWAYS worth it when your gallery comes to life 🤍

After traveling, shooting, editing on the go, and running on zero sleep… your girl is officially back to clocking in, mom life, wife life, AND business mode all at once 🙃

Trying to get back into a routine feels like… wait, what day is it again?? 😂

But we’re showing up anyway.
Because consistency > perfection.

Ending this California trip with a FULL heart 🥹✨

This one hit different… not only did I get to create magic with my beautiful clients (new + my OGs 🤍), but I also got some much-needed time with my family. Catching up on life, laughs, and all the little moments you don’t realize you miss until you’re back 🫶🏽

Being able to come back and photograph so many of you, watching your babies grow, your families evolve, your love deepen right in front of my lens… it’s something I’ll never take for granted.

This isn’t just photos for me. It’s memories, milestones, and real life unfolding. And I’m so grateful I get to be part of it.

No but really, some of the best moments happen when you let go. The giggles, the chaos, the in-between snuggles… THAT’S the magic 🫶🏼

I’ll fix your hair, hype you up, and then tell you to stop worrying about the camera and just be with your babies 🤍

Because the goal isn’t perfection… it’s connection.

POV: “Photography is easy… you just press a button.” 📸

If only it were that simple 😅

What you see: a beautiful gallery, perfectly lit moments, effortless magic.
What you don’t see: me adjusting my settings in seconds because the sun just dipped behind a cloud ☁️… or moving you two steps to the left because the lighting hit just right ✨

Golden hour? Gone in minutes.
Indoor lighting? A mix of warm, cool, and “what even is this lighting?” 😂
And somehow, I’m balancing it all, aperture, shutter speed, ISO, while making sure you feel confident, relaxed, and like your best self in front of my camera.

But it doesn’t stop there…
