Mothers Day weekend I had the pleasure of capturing Emily & Kris’ wedding day out in Rockbridge Baths on the most beautiful property.

It was a day with heavy winds & rain showers but it held of just long enough for these two to tie the knot in front of those closest to them.

Backyard, chill, intimate weddings are my favorite. 🫶🏽

reflecting back to this beautiful windy day in March on top of a hill surrounded by mountains, Joe & his bride said ‘I do’ on this beautiful Labyrinth here in Rockbridge County.

I had never been to a Labyrinth & I’d never known what it ever truly was, I always assumed it was a maze. But that could not be further from the truth. To marry on a Labyrinth show these two understood the true assignment of coming together as one. To marry in a Labyrinth represent a scared journey, it is a pilgrimage of devotion, which we know Marriage is. To seal their marriage in a sacred place with only two of their closest friends, myself, the officiant & her husband spoke volumes to me. I can say elopement’s are most certainly holding a new & special place in my heart.

Something about a Smash Cake session always makes me smile!
To see little ones taste something sweet typically for the first time, is always the funniest thing. They're either in love with the sugar or they're not a fan.. Zane was NOT a fan hahaha.
