A beautiful family session at the Boston Public Garden 🤍🌿

This is such a wonderful time of year for **Boston outdoor family photos**! The gardens are lush and beautiful, the light is gorgeous, and the weather is perfect for letting little ones run, explore, and simply be themselves.

It was extra special to photograph this family again. They’re returning clients, and this time we got to celebrate their little one turning TWO! 🥹

At this age, there’s so much personality — lots of movement, laughter, curiosity, and those little in-between moments that are impossible to recreate later. I love capturing families just as they are, rather than asking everyone to stand perfectly still and smile.

Monday night was her N&D Ballet recital 🩰✨

As a photographer, I spend so much time documenting other families’ memories… but moments like this remind me how important it is to pause and document my own.

Watching my little girl walk onto the stage in her tiny ballet shoes somehow felt unreal. The same baby I once carried in my arms is now learning confidence, grace, discipline, and courage under those bright stage lights.

She may not remember every rehearsal or every step years from now.
But I will remember the excitement in her eyes, the nervous little smile backstage, and the way she looked so proud after the performance.

Motherhood is bittersweet like that —
you spend your days exhausted, and somehow they still grow up far too quickly.

So here’s to preserving these fleeting little moments before they become memories 🤍
