Hi! My name is Jamie and I'm the owner of Whiskey's Memories. The name came from my partner in crime Whiskey Sour, a palomino quarter horse who I sadly lost in 2022. I recently moved to the Seattle area from out of state to pursue my graduate degree. Photography has been a life long passion and hobby of mine and became my professional gig in 2023 along side Physics and bioengineering which is my full time work.
Besides photos and physics I love animals, exploring the outdoors, and playing pool. My wife and I own a farm with a total of 6 dogs, 7 cats, 5 horses, 2 pigs, and a bunch of chickens. So I LOVE to photograph them too they are my children.
Photos mean the world to me because they allow memories to live on forever and live the tell the stories for generations. You will always see me taking photos of every sight, every event, and with all my friends and family. You can even ask my wife our biggest expense at our wedding was our wedding photographer cause I told her I'm not skimping on that!
I know first hand how awkward getting your photos taken is -- My wife and I are terrible at getting our photos taken. For my couples and families i always tell them "unless i ask for you to look at the camera i want to capture the real and candid you, the real smiles you share, the real laughs, the real looks." I strive for each photoshoot to be as comfortable and fun as possible! Don't worry if you didn't know how to pose, that's part of my job!
