Photos from our New River Gorge Adventure 🏕️

Spent my last free weekend before wedding season got crazy in the mountains of West Virginia, where Mothman roams and apparently everyone eats at Tudors Biscuit World. This was my first time visiting New River Gorge and I will definitely be going back!

New River had some beautiful hikes, especially our favorite Sandstone Falls that we decided to take our dip picture in front of. We also got to experience New River rafting for the first time, if you ever go to New River you HAVE to do the white water rafting that was my favorite thing we did all weekend (you can see me and Lindsey in back of the boat).

Also had nice AirBnb owners who were willing to trade drone photos for a discounted stay in their modern cabin on top of a mountain you’ll see in the back.

All photos taken by me except for slide 10

Nothing beats people coming out for a beautiful evening of music in the park. Thanks to everyone who packed the grass with blankets and lawn chairs 🌳

still coming to terms with no longer being at the beach…

had the most perfect week filled with mimosas, seashell hunting, kayaking, sunset spotting, laughs with family, and some serious beaching. The photos took a back seat this year to having a good time with those close to me, but I still can’t help keeping my camera on me and getting my drone up for a flight or two.

For those of you thinking of having a beach wedding please keep me in your thoughts and social media timeline

had the best time capturing all these adorable dogs and their proud owners, thank you to everybody who showed up. I think it’s safe to say the event was a huge success and I cannot wait to bring my camera to Louisvilles 2nd Annual We**ie Derby!

Those that know me already understand this was my dream gig lol 🐶🏁

I don’t think I’ve ever had a harder time choosing which pictures to post than these from my Arizona trip. Even though I brought my full professional camera I’ll never be able to capture just how beautiful it is to be out there seeing all the red rock and desert sunsets for yourself.

For anyone interested in an Arizona trip here was our 3 day itinerary starting in Phoenix

Day 1: •got up and drove to Sedona
•picked a 1-2 hour hiking trail (we did Brewer Trail)
•went to Tlaquepaque arts village
•went to Sliderock state park (creek closes at 5)
•drove to Flagstaff to get dinner and stay the night, highly recommend the Olive Garden there

Day 2:
•drove to the Grand Canyon South Rim
•took a shuttle to South Kaibab hiking trail and hiked a little past Ooh Ahh Point
•took a shuttle to lunch in one of the lodges
•took the Hermits Rest shuttle bus route getting out at almost every stop
•watched the sunset and by the time we left you could see every star in the sky
•drove to Page to stay the night

Day 3:
•checked in for Antelope Canyon tour (need to book ahead of time)
•went to Shell Cave, literally a sandstone cave behind a Shell gas station
•visited Horseshoe Bend
•ate at Birdhouse in Page which was our favorite restaurant the whole time, fried chicken place
•drove back to Phoenix to catch our return flight the next morning
