The time has finally come to announce the launch of my first edition book of the series!!! This has been a goal/dream of mine for the past 5 years, when I first discovered the amazing sport that is . Ever since experiencing cyclocross nationals in Asheville, NC back in 2016 I knew then this sport was something I wanted to be a part of. Since then, I’ve been coming to the local North Carolina series, put on by better know as Tim Hopkins, to actually race or photograph the races. This year is extra special because it’s the 25th edition of the NCCX series, and I’m so happy I’ve been a part of most of the season capturing all of the different races, riders, and venues.

It's also no coincidence that I am making this announcement of my book on as a portion of all book sales will go to help a local charity organization called Triangle Bikeworks. This amazing organization works with youth of various ethnicities to enrich their lives and to discover hidden histories in environmental education through cycling. What a weekend! Saturday and Sunday saw two new venues for the series, and both didn't disappoint. Saturday's race was like a mini Asheville nationals course, riding through barns and around farm animals, while Sunday's race was more like an off camber drag race around baseball fields and a skate park. Can't wait to share more from this weekend.

In the meantime I need your help with something. I am currently working on a photobook for for the NCCX series and will have it complete once all the races have wrapped in December. I am wanting a portion of the sales to go to a charity, but I'm having a tough time deciding which one. I'd like it to be something that is related to North Carolina, and possibly cycling, but doesn't necessarily have to be either. If you know of a great charity or maybe an individual that could use some extra funds, please send me a DM with info. As always thanks to all of you for making this sport such an amazing thing to be apart of. 👏
