My business coach always drops gold plated words of wisdom, but the most recent nugget I’ve clung to is, “just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.”

So let’s back track a little.
A huge part of my brand is me, which means transparency has always been part of my own journey and the work I do with women. I don’t think every woman needs to share her entire life online, but for me, it can matter.

I’ve been MIA on here for 2 weeks and there is a reasonably-ish good reason for it. Last day of 3rd grade, Mainely Movers event, zillion kid appointments, house decluttering, outdoor projects, learning the pool, surprise family, and THEN also injuring my hand/arm/back, getting horridly sick, family medical stuff, literally working inside my husband’s moving company, and having 3 mental breakdowns for seasoning.

So cute 🙃
Somewhere in the middle of all that, I had to remember the thing I help women see all the time:

Just because I can make s**t happen, doesn’t mean I should be making all the s**t happen.

I’m fantastic at doing, building, carrying it, fixing it, pushing through it. But when I use my capability as an excuse to overcommit, ignore my joy, avoid delegating, or keep putting energy where it isn’t best spent, I’m not being powerful.

I’m abandoning myself.
Ew.

And that’s a huge part of the work ladies.
Pursuing your dreams doesn’t mean life magically stops being messy. It means noticing where you keep leaving yourself behind inside the mess.

Where you’re doing things because you can.
Where you’re shrinking because it feels easier.
Where you’re confusing capability with alignment.
Where your life or business looks “fine” but doesn’t actually feel like yours.

That’s the fog I help women break through.
Not by becoming someone else, but by coming back to themselves. By getting honest about what they want, what they’ve outgrown, what no longer needs to be carried, and what small decisions bring their identity, energy, brand, business, and life back into alignment.

The last two weeks were not island content or festival girl glam.
But they were real.
And I will never regret choosing a life that feels more like me.
I don’t think you will either.

When I was younger I used to get in trouble for my “tongue” and facial expressions…A LOT. I was told I needed to watch my attitude, not make that face or stop being so dramatic.

The things is, that connection to emotional output, the deep understanding I have around emotions and how to display them was my fu***ng SUPERPOWER. I mean, the thing that people tried to break in me, is the literal foundation of my business.

But when you’re young and these things are considered unacceptable the way you view yourself becomes a conditioned version of someone else’s idea of the best you. Luckily for me my fire was incredibly uncontainable. If I couldn’t physically emulate the internal emotion myself, I would use some sort of other output.

Emotions turned into singing, to acting, to writing, to poetry, and I created art, that eventually led me to photography. And it was here that the version of me I had shrunk or tried to mask got to come back to life, and was actually PRAISED for.

I captured emotion and raw unfiltered moments of life. I began teaching women how to EVOKE emotion, feelings, thoughts, desires-and unapologetically display them. I got to use the same thing I was told to stop to make women feel POWERFUL AF.

So while this post is a little bit of a history lesson, it’s also my truth. I became an expert in using my identity, what I believe, how I feel, what I think, what I deserve, what I experience-to create and shape my literal money maker.

My identity is at the core of my business, it’s how I show up, what I say and what things look and feel like. And now that I know my attitude is actually fu***ng awesome and no one gets to tell me not to make that face because I’m definitely making that face, I get to pour my life’s worth of work, and experience into helping other women do the SAME FU***NG THING - for themselves and their businesses.

I wasn’t always the Main Character in my life or business. But I am today, and that means a starring role is ready to be held by you too. The role that makes you the bag, brings you joy, that you speak your truth in, design your business with, dress freely in, & feel uninhibited by.

You ready?✨

Your brand experience (how your customer experiences your business across EVERY touch point) matters more than you may think!

This is NOT me coming at you saying “scrap it all and build something perfect.” No, quite the opposite actually. It’s me saying “where can we look at how the client is experiencing your brand and noticing that there is a disconnect?”

You’re probably like “ok but why TF is that important?” BECAUSE girl!!! It’s the difference between someone following through with a purchase, it’s the difference between someone opening your door, between hopping in your DM’s, between recommending you, or stopping to PAY ATTENTION to what you have to share.

So perfection? No. Cohesion? Connection? Trust? F✨k YES.

And when your clients feel that everything makes sense and you are the one to trust - YOUR brand becomes a literal magnet 🧲
