The love & connection infused into this incredible celebration was so tangible throughout every piece of their day.

During their thank you toast Gabe & Emma expressed how they wanted their wedding day to feel like a warm hug to all of their people & I couldn’t think of a better way to express the feeling behind it all.

An anniversary session for the ages.

Co-creating the vision for these photos was such a dream & influenced so much by old documentary film snapshots & Britt’s family photo archive.

Incorporating the spaces & hobbies B&B have explored & built together gave us so much room to play, as well as so many ideas as we interacted with different spaces in their home.

From dancing in their record store to the countertops it truly was the most relaxed & joy filled time celebrating their 5 year.

Shoutout to for being the best co-pilot a girl could ask for.

Leaning in closer for so much life & love this June.

I’ve been spending so much time this week in conversation with so many sweet couples getting married in June & sharing in their excitement, truly one of my favorite things.

The effort, intention and personality being brought into each and every celebration is so lovely to see & soon to capture.

Thankful to be trusted with preserving so much joy & memory for so many amazing humans, I cannot wait to celebrate you to the max this next month!

Today would have been my 7th wedding anniversary & instead it marks one more step towards an alternate beginning.

I’ve gone back & forth on whether or not to share about my divorce but as a self proclaimed hopeless romantic, creative & photographer who has founded their work & brand on authenticity, on presence, I knew it would feel disingenuous not to.

I’ve been thinking about what this means for me professionally & the theme I keep ruminating on is how much genuine moments with our people truly matter. My lens has shifted a bit in this season but the inherent value & meaning is still there—stronger than ever.

Moments together hold such paramount value to me, they are the culmination—the proof of life & love well lived.

Capturing real life through my lens has taught me so much over the years but in this new beginning it’s taught me to fully lean in where I’m at & preserve the beauty of the moments unfolding before me.

I’m leaning in & open, pressing closer & becoming more curious about the incredible connections & stories I find myself interacting with every day.

In a word: wholeheartedly.

I’m open to this season, open to more authenticity in the moments I live & the moments I capture. Above all I am wholeheartedly leaning into being present in my moments & yours.
