It’s HOCO season! Here’s some tips to make your homecoming pictures the best they can be.

When you choose a location for group or individual photos, choose a location that’s not overly busy. I know you may want to choose a location out of convenience but you don’t want to compete with huge groups of people in the background ruining your shots.

You can make the simplest location amazing with the right lighting. Choose a spot where the light is behind you, preferably where light is diffused through trees and not overly harsh.

Here the light is soft and flattering, with even skin tones.

Remember the spotlight is on you, your date or group of friends. Have fun!

Every year when I celebrate the anniversary of CNP, it always leads me to reflect on how far my business has come.

God has blessed me with so many amazing clients that I have so much love for, clients that have become great friends and a part of this community. I’m genuinely so thankful that you all have been a part of this journey as I’ve grown as a photographer and as my business has grown.

It’s humbling to look at the work I was creating eight years ago. When I look at my work today, I’m proud of the client experience I’ve created and the images I deliver. I literally am emotionally invested in each gallery and client. It comes with putting so much of myself into what I do. I’m not the same photographer that I was when this business started. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for choosing me in a sea of other photographers! 🫶🏻
