Howdy Allen’s Camera Enjoyers! Its time again to unveil this months Film Spotlight! For the month of April, we’re showing off a great patron of the shop, Fernando Regencio Jr!

Fern is an avid traveler of the world, renowned local fisherman, and 35mm film aficionado. His weapon of choice is the well known Nikon F3, adorned with the AI Nikkor 35mm f/1.4 lens. The F3 has been in their family since the 80’s and is still going strong. A love affair with Portra 400 is starting to blossom, as seen in the photos above.

Fern’s appreciation for photography began in the early 2000’s during a Film & Media Arts program at Temple University. Inspirations like Bruce Davidson have led to photography weaving itself in and out of Ferns life. In terms of their preferred medium, 35mm film is the way to go. That could change in the future if Fern decides to add a digital camera to his camera bag.

Join Fujifilm’s Field Product Technical Expert Carson Marks Gordon to gain insight on how to craft beautiful landscape images. In this class, your instructor will go over the important landscape photography practices, key camera features/settings, and give an overview of a curated selection of XF lenses that can have a major impact on the final image. Our goal with this course is for every student to acquire this knowledge and apply it on your next outdoor adventure!
