Although I have taken some time off to focus on family... because having 4 kids is definitely awesome, but boy does it keep you busy. Like the saying goes "If you think my hands are full, you should see my heart".
Anyhow, I had a prior commitment to do a newborn session for a very sweet family who I had the pleasure of meeting through a wonderful organization called the "Ashley Wade Foundation". If you don't know about them, please try to find time to learn about the wonderful things they do for children facing difficult times fighting illnesses. Most of you know my sweet little Kyle was born with Craniosynostosis and they were wonderful and amazing.
Needless to say I enjoyed my session with sweet little Emily. Reminded me how much I truly to love photographing these precious babies.

I have been meaning to post on here for quite some time. Im sorry I haven't. I know some of my wonderful clients have reached out to me through out this year and I am sorry I have been so out of touch. I apologize for the lack of communication. I have been trying to create a blog to document what has been an extremely difficult time for my family and I.
As most of you know I had a beautiful baby boy this past May. I had taken some time off through my rough pregnancy and had hoped to resume shooting this past Sept. Well life threw us a curve ball. We learned that our son was born with a birth defect called Craniosynostosis and had to undergo a cranial surgery with a Pediatric Neurosurgeon at Cohen's Children Hospital this past August. The time leading up to the surgery was extremely difficult and only in the recent weeks has life really started to feel a little normal. Our little guy is now in a helmet and will be in it for 6-9 months. To answer a number of emails I have received the answer is yes, I will start shooting again. I may take a small number of Christmas sessions to ease back into things, but I will post once a final decision has been made on that. I will start to take newborn sessions for 2016. Spots will be extremely limited. I am not one for blogs as I'm not a fan of writing but I wanted to share this journey with you. Its really unbeliveable how resilient and strong our babies are. I appreciate everyone's patience and again I apologize for my extreme lack of communication. I do miss my little newbies and Im sorry I have missed so many milestones from my past newborns.

I can't believe my last post was this long ago. I want to start by saying Im sorry the lack in updates or delayed response. I assure you I have still been working hard as I was booked through March. It has been extremely difficult juggling the many plates while being pregnant. I would like to thank my beautiful clients for being so patient and understanding. Unfortunately I will not be able to take on any more sessions until after the birth of this little guy which is in May. I am sad about this since I will miss out on celebrating the 1st birthdays of my newborns from last year and some new siblings to my past newborns. I promise to post some pics from some recent sessions...

I know I have been verrrry quiet around here and I do apologize. Trust me there is a very good reason. I have not responded to so so many people and it has been awful especially with the busiest season a photographer can possibly have. It has been so stressful for me. But I hope this bit of news can shed some light on the reason as to why and some of you can understand knowing this is not the norm for me. I have been so sick and my body couldn't handle my usual 4am late nights. Now I can make it official here as well. I will be posting tomorrow with some important info regarding Christmas.

Its funny how sometimes you look at a picture and think how peaceful..but only Mommy (and sometimes Dad) and photographer know the real truth...haha I had the pleasure of meeting little Avery and big sister Emmy...they are both so precious!! Welcome to the world little Avery!

In case some of you were wondering about this awesome new boat prop....Mom did an amazing job coordinating the kids' accessories, outfits and props, she went above and beyond. She has generously gifted me this new prop (I think she noticed how much I was drooling over it..hahaha)!! Thank you, thank you so much! You can't even begin to understand how happy I am! So to answer the question... Yes! I will be able to offer this boat prop to all future sessions.
