Being able to capture a family in their element, at their home is just so fun. It was such a pleasure and honor to capture this family on their farm. And they were quite fun as well!

Fall sessions are gonna be rolling out on here (when I remember to post) and I’m sure I’ll be posting everything through Christmas. Books are open for 2026…with very limited availability still!

Someone asked me the other day if I disappeared from Instagram. 🤣

I did. It’s been really important to me to take a huge step back (and mean it) and focus on my family. But it’s also really important to me to keep doing what brings me joy. So, even if I’m not posting, doing reels, keeping up, I’m still going to be taking pictures.

I have very limited availability and that’s perfectly fine by me. But I absolutely love when I can get behind the camera again and work with some amazing people.

So, check out this terrible session I did with this family. 😂 For real though, I had to remember his parents were there too. 😅 The sweetest little family and not beautiful at all. 🙄 (I can say this, I know them and they know my sense of humor, calm down). 🤣

Well heyyyyyyyy.
It’s been awhile. That’s fine. It’s fall, getting cooler out, and we are nearing Thanksgiving. So, that means that I’ll be done shooting sessions for the season soon so it only makes sense that I post an August session now, right? 😂

I’ve been spending a lot less time on social media and just have been working here and there. It’s been pretty lovely, actually.

Anyway, I’ll post another one again in the future. Or I won’t. 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

I love me some fall but I am missing the green grass, warmth, and flowers. The good news is that they’ll be back again in a few months. 😍

In honor of the first and only birth I’ve ever been able to photograph…we are posting this today. Happy Birthday, Slade!! And happy BIRTH-day to one of my closest friends.

P.S. photographing your friends’ birth is hard. 😂 I cried the entire time. It’s fine. Totally fine. 🥹

Moving back to Virginia means a lot more of this. 😍

The two main questions I get about moving are:
1. Are you excited?
And
2. Are you still going to run your photography business?

Both answers are yes and no. I’m excited to be with friends again but I’m sad to leave the ones I’ve made here. And many other reasons, honestly. But with photography…I have taken a huge step back to focus on my family. And I need to do more of it. The thing is, I can’t ever completely stop. I love photography too much. So, for awhile my sessions will be limited to previous clients and friends. I will not be forcing “the hustle” and making myself crazy trying to book 15 shoots a month and then editing like crazy and taking time away from my family. Kudos to you people that do that many sessions and more and find time to like….eat and sleep. I can’t do it. Lol and really….to each their own. We all have our own priorities and levels of focus. I cannot continue to sustain the life I was living where everything was always so go, go, go.

Anyway. Now I’m rambling and this was intended to be short and sweet. 🤦🏻‍♀️ all of that to say: I am back. Well, I will be. I’ll be shooting again. But I will not be doing a bunch. So if you see your girl posting deals/minis/model calls, you gotta jump on it because it won’t happen often. 😂

This page will be for any and all photographic endeavors. Including any random outdoor/travel shots I take.

So, my 1TB iPhone ran out of storage today. 😳 Isn’t that ridiculous?! I am a photo and video hoarder. I spent a large part of today emptying photos and videos from my phone. I feel like my fellow photogs will understand….but that’s very hard for me.

But I did it. And then I realized I needed to optimize my storage. That helped and I cut my storage literally in half. So, I’m good for now. 😅

I may have a few things to work on this year…
Stop being a hoarder of things
Get better at clearing clutter
Get better having boundaries
Don’t overshoot

These may or may not apply to real life? 😂
