The end of an Era. 💕
The H. Cru Studio is Officially Closed!
I want to preface with, H. Cru Photography is not closing and I will still shoot in home or outdoor, but we no longer will have a physical studio.
While I know I’ve kept this a secret publicly for far too long, it felt hard to announce while actively working with clients. I didn’t have the words and didn’t know what I wanted to say or how to say it.
I am so incredibly thankful for these past 8 years and I was blessed with the literal best clients in the world, but some times it’s just time to move on.
I started this business after I left the Air Force as a 24 year old with a baby that really just wanted an outlet to talk to other adults and share my passion. This business has led me to meet incredible people, see incredible things, and capture incredible memories. But it’s just my time. My family has grown, I have grown, and I want to travel and explore the world with my family, I want to capture stunning destinations and their stories. It’s time to step back from the studio life and focus on us. It’s time to not be tied to a physical location and I am so so ready.
This isn’t goodbye fully, but it is a huge shift. I will no longer have a physical studio and I will not be offering studio specific sessions such as cake smashes. But I will transition into more of a relaxed, in home newborn, in home lifestyle sessions and continue with outdoor sessions and events.
Thank you so much for the memories, it was bittersweet leaving the empty studio walls today but I cannot wait to see where this next chapter leads me and this business.
