And just like that, I blinked. My last baby’s first birthday. Lilah Ryan, you will always be the biggest and best surprise that could’ve ever happened to our family. We will never stop thanking God that He chose us to watch you grow. When people always ask what it’s like having four kids, my answer is always the same - “THE BEST!” On repeat.

Balancing mom life and stepping back into the studio isn’t easy, but oh, how it fills my heart. There’s something so sacred about holding my own tiny baby at home, then getting to connect with other moms who are in the exact same season. These sessions feel even more special now.

This was my first official newborn session since having Lilah, and man, it did not disappoint!

Sometimes I forget to thank God for the unanswered prayers. All of them led me to this - to these precious gifts of mine, to this incredible life I’m treasuring. I couldn’t be more humbled that these people are mine.

Just a PSA to not skip your maternity session! If you’re on the fence about documenting your bump, this is a gentle nudge to say just do ittttt!

The third trimester is so special - filled with such wonder and anticipation. Who will baby look like?! What will their personality be like?! When will they be here?! How will our lives change?! Will I be a good mother?! Will I be able to look down and see my feet again?! (Ok I can’t be alone on that last one 🤪)

But truly, imagine someday showing your child how much you adored carrying them and loving them before they were even born.
